Margie’s Latkes

 

These do look a bit crispy. Be careful of the black cast iron skillet. They were still good.

 

 

 

 

 

Every year at my house we observe Hanukkah with friends. My Jewish friend, Margie shared her Latkes recipe with me one evening, from memory - as she was getting to the point, it was hard for her and an all around BIG job when you are making them for a crowd of friends. 

 I gladly have picked up the reins and have adopted her recipe as my own now.
