Peach Pie from a can

  It may not win first prize at the county fair but it's good.      Years ago when I was a divorced Mom - with 3 boys, I learned how to stretch a dollar and make do with what I had available.  I also was a food bank recipient - and many times you get so many cans of this and that, you have to be creative.  I still enjoy this canned version of a Peach Pie.   2 cans of peaches Start by preheating your oven to 400 degrees. Prepare your crust if made from scratch. I do not recommend this store-bought pie crust. It was slightly stale when I bought it and tore apart when I was placing it in the pie pan.  Homemade is always best. Next time, I will try the brand-name pie crust and see how that goes.  Or have my husband do the pie crust.  Open canned peaches and drain liquid into your saucepan and set aside.
